Forrester Park takes immense pride in the freshness and quality of our food. Let them create that special meal for you, using only the best of local produce.

The Acanthus is an award winning restaurant of exceptional standing. Crisp white linen, silver cutlery & aproned waiters reflect a bygone era.
The quality, service & presentation is a credit to Head Chef Alistair and his team.
The Restaurant is designed for the customer who wants the same service as the Acanthus but prefers a smaller dining area.
If it’s privacy you’re after then close the French doors and hide yourself away in the company of your guests.
A recent addition to Forrester Park, the coffee shop which is ideal for the casual diner who wants a good value snack, lunch or a drink after a stint at the Driving Range or a round on the Golf Course.
Look out for the Alistair’s Lunchtime Specials… excellent value for money.
Went out for an impromptu dinner on Tuesday night. Food was good, venue was beautiful and Callum our host made it all the better with his open chat, very helpful and professional attitude. We had a lovely bottle of wine from Lebanon. We will definitely be back.

I had the Festive menu. The Black pudding starter was tasty, the belly pork melted in your mouth. The take on the Turkey dinner was unbelievable. Home made Christmas Pud was super. Presentation and taste was out of this world. Really enjoyed the food and staff were very friendly and approachable.

After visiting recently I can say that Forresters is the best in the Dunfermline area. The High Tea choices covered all the traditional bases and all were well presented and fresh. I particularly liked the thick cut chips. The service throughout the meal was great and I will definitely be back. I would highly recommend it.

We have eaten in Forrester Park on several occasions. On this occasion we visited on Mother’s Day. We opted for the high tea menu which was reasonably priced including tea/coffee and a selection of very tasty home made cakes. The menu offered a good choice of dishes and the food was well presented and cooked to perfection.
The restaurant was fully booked but service was friendly and efficient. One lovely touch was the pianist playing in the background.
A very enjoyable dining experience and we would highly recommend Forrester Park to potential customers.

I can’t praise Forrester Park highly enough. The restaurant was well lit, table was perfectly set and background music was at just the right level. There was a wide selection of meals on the menu and the meal I had was well presented and flavoursome. The service was impeccable and the staff were efficient & courteous. My friends and I had a lovely time and I will definitely be back.

Was there on Saturday night for the Christmas night. Lovely three course meal. Entertainment was great. The venue staff were really attentive to the guests and made everyone feel welcome. Really nicely decorated for Christmas and drinks on arrival was a nice touch. Def would go again. Have heard the rooms are pretty special!

On 6th May in the company of 18 guests I celebrated my 70th birthday at Forrester Park Resort. From making first contact to our departure on the night the service was helpful and charming. The room was beautiffully laid with tasteful table decorations, and Callum and the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive.
I and three of my guests are vegan and unlike many chefs who are reluctant to acknowledge the possibility that vegans too require fine dining, Alistair made sure that everything served to us was of the same exceptional standard as that served to those choosing conventional dishes. They too waxed lyrical at the quality of their meals.
I recommend Forrester Park to anyone seeking the best dining experience in the area, and especially to fellow vegans who are so often let down by chefs. My thanks to everyone involved in making this a very special occasion.

This is an excellent venue as it offers a dining room within the club house that is hidden away from the front of the building and if you are a large group (as we were) then you’re likely to have the room for private dining. We were there for a 50th wedding anniversary and the age group ranged from 70 years – 6 years old.
The menu had a good range and some excellent dishes on there, even for the children and as with lots of fine dining eateries, our food orders were taken whilst we were in the lounge bar enjoying a pre-dinner drink.
When we were seated we had some excellent staff assigned to us and we weren’t left wanting for anything! The steaks came out cooked to perfection and the whole experience will seal the memory of an amazing golden wedding anniversary.
Can’t recommend this small restaurant enough, the food was amazing, the service was very attentive and timely (without being over-the-top) and the prices were very reasonable for such high quality ingredients and product. Would definitely go again!

Visited Forrester Park this evening with my Mum and Mother in Law and could not fault anything! The service was extremely attentive without being intrusive and the food delivered beyond expectation. Alistair the Head Chef coming to ask if everything was OK was a really nice touch!
The highlight of my night was the venison which was cooked perfectly, so tender and the gnocchi/puy lentil accompaniment was delicious! My Mum loved her Black Pudding Starter and my Mother-in-Law her vegetarian Wellington main, although we all loved each of the three courses we had!
Would definitely recommend Forrester Park for diner on an evening and will most definitely return!
Thanks guys for a lovely evening!

Head Chef Alistair Clark has been running the Forrester Park kitchen for over 15 years. A local, from Dunfermline, Alistair’s career has spanned more than 3 decades.
Working in established Edinburgh restaurants and London hotels, he acquired his trade under the tuition of esteemed chefs as Pierre Koffmann, and Paul Gaylor.
Forrester Park takes immense pride in the freshness and quality of their food. Where possible Alistair and his team of exciting chefs use local produce from local suppliers.
Whether you’re eating a gourmet burger in the golf bar, high tea in the Acanthus or fine dining in the Harlequin restaurant you can be sure the attention to detail, quality and value are the same.
Alistair and his team constantly go the extra mile when creating menus for private dining and weddings. From South American dishes to Eastern European, the kitchen is more than happy to ensure that your dining experience is unique with a personal touch.
We will aim to meet the special dietary requirements of all our guests. Forrester Park is experienced in creating specific menus to suit all with modifications to popular dishes.
“It is important to me that all our food is freshly prepared. I believe that when you have fresh, seasonal ingredients cooking should be easy. We are fortunate to be in such beautiful countryside and so close to the coast.
This gives us the opportunity to take advantage of the local farmers’ vegetables, beef, game and nearby seafood. This enables us to change the menus on a regular basis, using great produce in their peak.
My style is a modern take on traditional French gastronomy. I encourage my team to be adventurous and use modern techniques although, importantly still hold onto classical methods and values. I work closely with our restaurant manager to ensure that our guests leave having had a dining experience, not only a great meal.
Although I have the final say I encourage my team to come up with new ideas and menus. Their passion and enthusiasm is shown constantly which reflects on our final product”
