The Wedding Ceremony
Grand Hall
The perfect location for your marriage ceremony, a true Robert Adam styled room with a magnificent marble fireplace.
The setting affords the ideal ambience for the ceremony and is the perfect focal point for those special ceremony photographs. It has a capacity for 110 guests.
Outside
The area adjacent to the Grand Hall is also picture-perfect for your Wedding Ceremony.
It features the wonderful backdrop of the Forrester Park parkland estate and golf course.
Although weather dependant, this is truly one of the most stunning ways to hold your ceremony.
The Wedding Venue
Acanthus
The ideal venue for your wedding banquet & celebrations.
This is a large Palladian style room set off with a French dome that houses a splendid centrepiece and chandelier.
Harlequin
This is just perfect for an intimate celebration, just close the French doors to lock yourself away.
The Wedding Photographs
The golf course and parkland provides natures perfect backdrop for all your outside wedding photographs.
Private buggies are used to transport you to various picturesque lochs, bridges and waterfalls.
The Selection of Menus
There is an extensive range of dishes available to create your menu and our Head Chef Alistair Clark will be happy to prepare a unique menu for your special day.
We endeavour at Forrester Park to assist you in creating a banquet of the finest food and beverages catering tailored to your tastes, a similar experience to dining in our Acanthus and Harlequin restaurants.
We encourage you to meet with Chef Alistair to let us know your ideas for your menu.
Once you have given us your ideas, we will invite you in for a menu tasting, this is usually finalised approximately one to two months prior to your wedding date.
When having your wedding here at Forrester Park, you do have the exclusivity of the room for the day, thus we are uniquely able to offer you not only just set menus, but menus with choices as well.
Alistair and his team are dedicated to preparing and serving the food exclusively for you and your guests with no other functions or restaurants to worry about on the day.
This ensures that your guests are looked after no matter what their requirements.
The Wine Selections
Forrester Park Resort prides itself on the range and quality of their wines and champagnes with almost 40 bins to ponder.
Our helpful wine guide provides information on strength and various on taste from the chosen international wine supplier.
The wedding planner can also source a wine of your choice.
The Evening Celebrations and Buffet
Although celebrations usually start at 7.30pm, often may of the guests do not arrive until 8pm. The customary first dance, featuring bride and groom takes place at 8.15pm.
Evening buffets are served in the great hall when the evening entertainment has a mid-time break, usually between 9.30pm and 10pm. This opportune time to hold an evening firework display.
Buffet content ranges from the simple menu to a grand feast and is arranged on the initial meeting with Robert & Alistair.
The Evening Completion
Most bands will finish at approximately 12 midnight and discos at 1am. Forrester Park Resort is licensed until 1am.
Wedding guests have a taxi service running from 11:30pm in the main car park to usher everyone to their destinations.
Staying the Night
If you and your guests are staying the night in one of our beautifully appointed bedrooms, we are pleased to offer you a discounted rate on all rooms pre-booked six months in advance, subject to availability.
